Dear CJCians, past and present! The College's Administration has recently brought forth a proposal to refresh our College's Crest. In light of this, here at CJIgnite, we would like you, students, teachers and alumni of Catholic Junior College to have your say with regards to the refreshing of our College's Crest. Hey CJCians! A gentle reminder that Sports Carnival will be held tomorrow 25 May at the Grandstand. All CJCians are to report in their house attire at 7am. The event will begin at 7.20am! Do drink lots of plain water tonight in order to stay hydrated for tomorrow's event. We wish everyone all the best, play to the best of your abilities and most importantly, remember to have fun!

Singapore Youth Festival 2012

Today, our very own Drama Society received the results for the Singapore Youth Festival 2012. We are very proud to announce that the Drama Society was awarded:

GOLD with HONOURS

Gold with honours is the highest award attainable by schools. Well done Drama Society!

Rugby Plate Cup 2012

Today, Rugby played against Pioneer JC, defending champions of the Plate Cup. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure the win and lost to a score of:

National Schools ‘A’ Division Basketball Competitions 2012

Today, our Basketball team put up a fierce fight and emerged victorious against River Valley High School with a score of:

CJC 48 - 45 RVHS

With this victory, the Basketball team has done the College proud by placing in the top 6 of the National Schools ‘A’ Division Basketball Competitions 2012. We're proud of you, Basketball! The Basketball team made history for CJC this year by advancing into the second round after 14 years and placing in the top 6. It has been a well fought season and we are proud to have walked thus far with the team. Well done, Basketball!

National Inter-Schools Hockey Championship 2012

The Hockey Girls team were up against a powerhouse team, ACJC. It was definitely not an easy game but our girls fought hard. Unfortunately, ACJC won with a score of

CJC 0 - 4 ACJC

Though this marks the end of their season, nevertheless, we are still extremely proud of them and respect their efforts and hard work put in throughout.

All the competing CCAs have been fighting hard and putting in all their efforts while tackling the pressure of Mid Year examinations at the same time. A really job well done to all the competing CCAs. CJC is definitely proud of you guys!

The Badminton Boys Team competed against Innova JC today. We emerged victorious with a score of

National Inter-Schools Hockey Championship 2012

The CJC Hockey Girls team were up against SAJC today. It was no easy game as our girls fought hard to win. Unfortunately, SAJC pulled through with a score of

CJC 0 - 3 SAJC

It was a very intense match as the game was at a standstill after SAJC scored their first goal during the first half. Both teams battled it out during the second half and it was not only till the final minutes where SAJC managed to pull off 2 goals, securing their win. Nevertheless, well done Hockey Girls! In order to stay in the competition and progress to the Semis, CJC needs to win their next game against Hockey powerhouse ACJC. The match will be held on 4th May, 5.30 pm at Seng Kang Hockey Pitch 2(Sengkang Sports and Recreation Centre).
